The two singles, Say It and Never Be Like You, feature incredible vocal performances from Tove Lo and Kai respectively; huge props to them.The songs are sure-fire chart-throbs bound for success, the classic Flume sound running through their veins. However, for all of Streten’s talk of experimentation, these two tracks (for most of the public, the first taste of the album) show little Wall Fuck is by far my favourite track so far. I'll give it a couple more listens but it's not really blowing me away so far. That said, I haven't been the biggest Flume fan. Only a couple of remixes and Holdin' On are works of his I consider great. Some Minds is good too, no idea why he didn't put it in the album. Flume began working on the album away from the public eye from 2017, following his commercially successful album Skin and its world tour. The mixtape is a more experimental record compared to Flume's previous work, and contains features from several of his favorite artists such as Slowthai, JPEGMafia and frequent collaborator Kučka, as well as guest production from HWLS, Sophie and Eprom.
